Learn from the mistakes of others

so, today i had my first meeting with my disability placement caseworker. this was the initial informaiton exchange: who we are, what i'm looking for, what they can do for me, where we go from here. that kind of stuff.

i'm now on board the state government's disability recruitment programme. essentially, after the next step, if i (of they) see a job i'd like (or that might suit/interest me) in the state government, i can skip the regular interview and move straight to a meet-and-greet.

i now have access to twelve months of targetted support, and resources.

i've kicked the tires, it's got a full tank of petrol. let's hope i find somewhere nice to park it before we're running on empty ...
