Learn from the mistakes of others

you put in half an hour to write an update for your journal, then your browser blows up - taking only the useful apps with it.
welcome to the information age. where information takes an age. and then goes on taking.
i might be mad, but i just wish microsoft could produce a single consistent interface, just once. and while they're at it, perhaps let me decide if i want the stupid window i just put in the background to keep popping up over the one i'm trying to type into ... for ... sake.

maybe i can find an image to use for this journal.
hey, why don't i actually update it occasionally (if my box don't suffer from MS, that is ...)
