Learn from the mistakes of others

well, found out yesterday that yet another good job prospect is dead in the water. i'm fucked if i can figure out why.

if anyone is looking for someone with qualifications +/- experience in biotech, biomed, it, or law, i'm still in the market.

i'm running out of options that i haven't tried. i mean, fuck sake, i've got degrees with honours in molecular biology and in laws. i'm not an idiot, just don't seem to be wanted. i'd be earning more if i was 15 and working at mcdonalds for fuck sake. what was the point of even trying to get into university if i'm just going to be stuck doing manual labour for years.

and it's not as if i fuck up the interview, most employers haven't even bothered to interview me ... more than 800 applications over four years to get four interviews - and two of those were with the army, who want me to wait until the end of next year. i can't even offer to get shot to get a job.

i'm beginning to wonder if i shouldn't just accept my lot and say fuck it. stop bothering to look for a job and try to be happy living on about $100-150 per fortnight living with my parents until they die. this was never what i had in mind at school.

at least i don't have to go to school reunions or anything i guess.

fuck it. any way, might as well stop now. not getting anywhere with this rant either. not even feeling better for it.
