Learn from the mistakes of others

my life (such as it is), in brief, in no particular order:

• i have a job interview next week: native title lawyer with the state government. (go me!)
• i am writing the adelaide university postgraduate students' association a new constitution - and just got promoted to vice-president. (oh boy.)
• i am finishing a job application: industrial lawyer with the state government. (a pattern?)
• i'm missing bubba hotep tonight to pretend to be a sword-wielding maniac. (i roleplay.)
• this weekend i'll be an ugly dead guy for a night. (i larp.)
• i'm helping my ex with contacts for the speculative fiction convention she is helping to organise and run: conclave. (social aspie?)
• i'm trying to figure out how to pay off last year's uni fees so i can enrol this year and finish the grad cert ed. (bloody fees!)
• also need cash to pay memebrship fees for the law society and letasa. (need job!)
• i'm playing around with podcasts, and have tried a few software options. it's doppler for now. (need sleep.)
• my son turned five this week, and started school. (time flies :)

there's probably other stuff. hopefully there is.
