You name three fictional characters.
I have to pick one to push off a cliff, one to marry, and one to shag.

as a part of the adelaide film festival, one of my friends is participating in the kino kabaret (where small teams script, film, edit and present short films over 48 hour cycles).

my son, who is 5, acted in one of these films: 'lost'. on (obviously) short timeframe, one of the teams was looking for a young child to play a part in their short film - were not confident they could in time. in adelaide, it is who you know ... anyway, my son was so good at taking direction that they expanded the role of his character in the film. my little darling had so much fun that he apparently would jump back into place and ask if they wanted to shoot again. the director was blown away.

and, having watched the end product, well, he was very good. i agree with lorelei, he was convincing - understated and natural. he'll enjoy acting as he goes through school.

be interesing to get any feedback for others when it is shown at other kino festivals in the future. [kinos get archived on dvd - and we'll get a copy of the dvd from this festival ...]

the adelaide film festival is presented by (aka major funding and tech support by) internode - our adsl isp [simon is cool]
