Damn straight! It actually made it in the top 10 of ABC's greatest movies of all time voted by the Australian public. I havent watched it for a while but it is such a good movie.

One of the few movies that is actually better than the original book. The book contains the same awesome fantasy/swashbuckler of the movie but the bits with the sick boy and his grandfather are what clever moviemakers replaced a midlife crisis ridden author bitching about his life with...

Pssst. The guy who wrote the book also wrote the screenplay. William Goldman. Plus his commentary on the DVD is well worth listening to :)

Mental Note: Lend maelorin the Princess Bride DVD. I bought the Region 1 Special Edition, because it had the commentaries and special features that the crappy Region 4 didn't. Writer's commentary, Director's commentary, Making-of special. And more :) Well worth it.
