Hottest 100 Countdown time on Triple J
Some 750,000 votes this year .. the largest music poll in the world, apparently.
Triple J is the youth radio network of Australia's public broadcaster, the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC - not to be confused with the US ABC :)
Machine Gun Fellatio 'Rollercoaster' on at the moment at No. 6 ... wonder how they come across over in the the US? (I know we have requests from Canadians and many other OS types listening and corresponding via the WWW.)
the guy who won the competition to go overseas to California didn't answer the phone ... so Adam Spencer left a message - which the guy heard on the radio, outside, at the Hottest 100 party he was hosting :) After freaking out a bit, he called the station ... and has no idea who might have got No. 1 on the Hottest 100 ... who are Queens of the Stone Age .. and I've just missed the title of the song ... ah, well. It'll be ont he Triple J website ...
