choices, decisions, outcomes

well, today has been fruitful.

i made some decisions, and acted upon them.

from whence have come choices. which will lead to outcomes.

yesterday i made an appointment to see the university disability support officer.

this morning we worked through my options.
i decided that i will try to complete the grad dip ed. but it is not my top priority now.
top priority is getting a job. a real job, with a future.

so, to that end i have been in contact with a recruitment consultant. and a careers advisor.
and will be tracking down a vocational psychologist.

what kind of job am i looking for?

i'm a facilitator. i need a team environment.
i also need a variety of tasks, including research, analysis, and opportunities to try new things.

i don't rely only my own domains of knowledge. i draw on other's knowledge and experience.
in fact, i don't need to know anything about the problem domain to work through options.
besides, i learn quickly. and i'm flexible.

and when it comes down to it. if i don't understand something, i ask questions until i do.
oh, and i can explain stuff until others understand it.

and afterwards i caught up with two old friends for coffee. got a lunch date on sunday. all good.

then on to gwiz. for only the second time in years. watched some anime i haven't seen in years.
well, since it came out in 1996.

and finally, picked up hans for our weekly overnight stay ... yay!
