Learn from the mistakes of others

well, time rolls on.

the past few days have been spent in interviews, meetings, and madly rushing after my son throught he halls of the museum and the art gallery.

i am at a loose end.

wondering if she'll call.

i have started helping refugees deal with dimia. [lawyer-ish, blah-de-blah.]

i spent half a day helping an acquaintance with some coding & hardware interface issues. [in c of course.]

i missed spiderman 2 with my friends to spend two nights and a day with my son. [valium please.]

i am wondering if she will call.

this time next week i'll be preparing to go to a country school for a week.

i am wondering if i should try calling her again.

but, i am also excited by the prospect of meeting daydaze - the first person i have met through lj that i'll be meeting face-to-face. several of my friends here i know irl, and for a couple lj is our only means of communication at the moment.

life at the moment is a rollercoaster ride for me at the moment. sudden highs followed by long, drawn-out lows, with quick turns and twists, and blind corners with highs and lows and loops and shit to follow. i'm trying to enjoy the ride, but i know i forgot to lock the safety bar ... goddess help me ...
