i know darn well that i need to

1. meet someone, and then
2. manage to not either;
   
   1. talk my way out of a relationship, or
   2. think too much about what i'm supposed to be doing.

doesn't mean i'll get the chance anytime soon.

but i have had the time to reflect on it, and tried to make some use of at least part of that time for that purpose.

and to watch pretty women.

and wonder how it is i'm supposed to start a conversation with one of them that doesn't go:

"hi. umm... i, err, hi... er... i was. i was. well. wondering... umm."

and then maintain it for 40+ years. [oh, hang on. that part i've probably got covered.]
