while there is a veritable, and growing, truckload of literature on working with aspie's as students in schools, so far i have found nothing, nothing, regarding aspie's as teachers in schools. excellent.
either this means that:
or a research grant. for me. for a change.
hell, it's not like i can't do research. but it would be nice to get paid regularly to do it. for a change.
either this means that:
- aspies as teachers is so rare no one's thought to study them
- aspies as teachers just doesn't register on the grant landscape, the money's in the kids in the classroom
- aspies just don't become teachers. at least not in schools
- the literature on aspies as teachers is buried in obscure journals that don't even rate a mention. anywhere. even online.
- i have not cracked all the 'codes' yet, and there is some obscure set of terms that i've yet to discover.
or a research grant. for me. for a change.
