i agree with you on plot complexity and the average movie-payer/goer.
i've always been a fan of rogue, not so keen on gambit. details of the various characters and plots have faded over the intervening years. read so much, so very, very much in the meantime. (who'd do a law degree ...)
anyway, liked x2 - looking forward to x3 (and more if they can keep up without going soft and 'batman' on us)
