Learn from the mistakes of others

well, it has been some time since i last wrote.

how is everyone out there?

i'm sitting around waiting to know if i have a future as a lawyer, or whether i've got another career change on the way. my life as i might know it lies in someone else's hands ... yippie. on the plus side, if i get past this hurdle i should be wearing green during daylight hours for the next six to thirty-six years.

i'm still in the dark as to why the civilian legal fraternity haven't shown interest in a law school graduate with GPA in the top 15-20%. and in light of the push into it and biotech industries over the past decade or so, my ten years experience in the it industry (as sysadmin, programmer, programmer/analyst, data recovery and database integration/migration consultant) and honours degree in molecular biochemistry and molecular biology ought to have made me a salable commodity ...

still, i'm getting to live la vida loca, right. footloose and fancy free ... got a bit of a job, doing some postgrad study, got some time. of course, i've also got aspergers to deal with: recasting my whole life and establishing a whole slew of new challenges for the years ahead. i could go off and go wild, but i'd have to understand how ;)
