Ah, I'm glad you asked number VI; allow me to elucidate...

why does the website for triskellion house have to be black like (almost) every other pagan website?

Because it's not ~ A) the actual color scheme is done in purples: the background pattern goes from extremely dark to middling light, with the rollover option buttons a much lighter shade; and 2) it's not specifially pagan website ~ it's a household website, and though the majority of those that've been part of our house at one time or another have been pagan, the site has been labelled "Polyamorous", "Anti-Christian" (Yeah, the fundies got our address), "Kinky" (there's erotica there somewhere), and comes up in a couple of online literary mag searches as a resource (my online story library is there).

vi: Well, koala is toxic (on account of them being stoned almost all of the time), wombat I imagine to be tough as old boot leather, and I've not tried emu. That really only leaves 'roo. Which is very nice when barbecued.

wombat isn't too bad, stewed.
emu is pretty good.
koalas are protected, even if they were edible.
roo is teh b0mb. my favourite red meat.
wallaby
black snake, brown snake and death adder is ok. not much on a single animal though.
crocodile is not bad either.
honey ants are sweet.
witchety grubs are nutty flavoured.
bogon moths are nutty too.
cockys and galahs are practically impossible to cook.
budgerigah's live up to their name. though you need a whole flock for a decent feed.
preying mantises are crunchy.
ants are ok in chocolate.

You can cook both cockys and galahs. The secret is as follows:
Get a billy can of water close to boiling.
Put a large rock in the bottom of the billy, then add the galah (cocky).
Continue to cook until the rock is soft.
Throw away galah (cocky), eat rock.

Babies work better.

And people told me it was hard getting out of babysitting my nephews...

OK. I don't have any nephews. That was what the dingos were for.

I don't think we've ever met. If you are coming to [livejournal.com profile] leminkainen's party on Saturday, you might want to postpone your answer until afterwards. Assuming you intend to answer at all, that is.

I'd like to be in Hawaii, scuba diving! :-)
I've never seen sky captain, maybe I will now.
I've never had tangerine jam, so that sounds good.
Random comments are good -- I'm a random poster, so that is really the best kind of comment.
Puma, nice. I feel sleek and powerful now.
I know that you would be great to talk with -- one of these days I may emigrate to your part of the world.

sky captain is neat. a very styalistic film.

i do random, at lot.

that is the idea ;)

please do. plenty of good places to sit and talk, plenty of nice food and beverages to consume whilst doing so ...

  2. movie lawrence of arabia the original classic

  3. wrestle strawberry, with cream and hundreds & thousands.

  4. memory some fupa event. [you indicate a beltaine dinner. probably right]

  5. animal panda bear

  6. ask why is the sky blue?

random: probably in desperate need of a service.

movie: Intriguing choice. Is there any reasoning attached to it?

animal: but am i radioactive?

ask (v1.0): Raleigh scattering by molecules in the Earth's atmosphere is frequency dependant. Long wavelengths (red light) doesn't scatter as much as short wavelengths (blue light). Thus blue light from the sun gets heavily scattered by the atmosphere and appears to come from all around you, rather than directly from the sun.

ask (v2.1): the Power of Truth said "The Sky is Blue" and it was.

Whereas I always favoured the alternative that the Power of Truth could change the relationship between the sky and colour, making, for example "The Sky is Green" a true statement, and then you would have a whole lot of upset air spirits who were worried that they were a sickly blue instead of a nice healthy green. Hmmmm. And then you would have the possibility of having the group of air spirits organise to steal green from nearby rainbows, unbenownst to anyone else, and the next thing you know you have Damballah the Loa of Rainbows asking you pointed question of where all the green of her rainbows has gone...

But no one appreciated the fun you could have had with such ideas in a Nobilis game and preferred to have the Power of Truth be able to do anything by making it true, and thus make the Power of Truth too powerful to play in most campaigns. Although can you imagine all the nettling the poor Doman would be vulnerable to from all those little white lies....

And no one was willing to believe that candy might actually be a manifestation of the Power of Dentists.

It's an Excrucian conspiracy I tell you!
