well, f**k me. i've given up on battle.net. when i can get on, lag reduces response to shit. no point until i can get at least ADSL.

When you connect are you connecting to Australian servers? For Diablo it always worked fine if I went to the default .au servers but was so not worth it if I tried to force it to let me go on a US one.

using aussie servers. problem lies with one of the iprimus servers, apparently. mind you, couldn't get a good explanation. i suspect the problem lies in the modem pool here ... connection speed can vary wildly ... particularly with immeadiate relogins.

anyway, i had another good link to battle.net, but i'm just not good enough with war3 to play with the sharks yet. i've retreated to the kiddie pool for the time being.

unfortunately, not being mr gates, i'm having a hard time finding someone who's prepared to pay me for the use of my nerdy brain. and i ain't getting much for my body ...
