rabbit

one of our neighbours came round today and asked if the rabbit she found in her backyard was mine/ours.




no.

perhaps she should check with neighbours that aren't across the road from her. perhaps next door or over the back fence.



oh, sure. yeah. thanks.

i considered saying exactly that ... until i realised she'd brought an example of her progeny along with her (the neighbour's, not the rabbit's - of course)

chose to be a good-neighbour™ and played it straight(ish).
