I'm still not getting comments anywhere or from anyone, though. :-(

what did you do to update? (in detail)
(no subject)
As far as Semagic went, it was fairly simple -- Semagic itself told me that there was a new copy, I downloaded it to my usual folder (I'm anal about folder hierarchy), closed my old copy and then installed over it. The only things I can think of that's keeping other people from posting successfully might be:
-- I've been doing every incremental update available (so for me this was just 1.5.6.9 to 1.5.7.1 while most people made a much larger leap)
-- I have it set to spellcheck while I'm typing, and *not* just before I post (I noticed a lot of people having issues have it set the opposite way).

as for updates, i dl and install as semagic announces.
i have not used check on post for ages. it's much more convenient to fix errors as i go anyway :)

Then do something unicode-y with it, so we can see!;)

unicode simply uses the unicode character encoding scheme to represent text, rather than the (now) antiquated ascii or whatever.
i could post something using non-latin glyphs, but i'd rather not inadvertently bring a jihad down on anyone ...
I am not afraid!
Re: I am not afraid!
but i am lazy.
