i have a job.

ho yeah.

well, for three, no two and a half weeks, anyway.

i'm co-authoring a paper for a conference. who'd a thunk it ... i stop writing a 50,000 word paper for free and i get paid to co-write & edit a 5-8,000 word paper. i can cope with that. co-authoring with a queens counsel no less. most happiness.

and as icing on the cake, i've been referred to another barrister. i might well be involved in preparing and running the defence in a murder trial. even more happiness.

and i will still get to do the teaching diploma as well.

now, if only i could have the same fortune with finding a new place to live...

goodness, co-authoring with a QC indeed. congrats. and good luck with the murder defence business, it'll be nice if you get some work on that. well, you know, it's always nice to get work generally, but this is rather more exciting than the day-to-day. things are looking up, eh?
