i do refer to poweriso's proprietary .daa format. *headdesk* whatever the so-called 'special features' are, the retards don't have any idea how to use them, or what to use them for. and they're pointless anyway since the 'tards are just ripping content.

flac is largely pointless for ripping because so very few of us have adequate equipment - sound system or auditory wetware - to notice. fewer care.

at 11 (pm and on the volume dial) tori amos will not sound any better in flac, aac, or mp3. neither will christina, or anthrax.

flac might make sense if you're recording music and want to transport your gems for some reason. but how many script kiddies have any creative talent to speak of?
