i just realised how few cool mp3s i have. i've ripped most of the music on this pc from my cds, bizarre collection that i have. but i'm thinking i'd like something new, and interesting. perhaps even some odd stuff. any ideas how and where?
tried kazaa - the ads shit me - and hald the stuff is mislabelled crap. ditto for a few other mp3 'browsers' that i've tried. hours wading through lists and half the dls are crap or broken. not to mention the idiots who put files into password protected zip files, or change the file extensions so windows tried vaiantly to load them into some applicaiton or other - choking and killing my whole session.

i'll give winmx another go, now that i have tidied up after finally getting the last remnants of kazaa off the system. found all sorts of little bits of crap in the registry and ont he harddrive after 'uninstalling' the 'full' kazaa program.

Otherwise, I'm in the half-arsed process of putting all my mp3's on CD, so if there was anything among them you liked (sent you a list a while back), you can borrow the CD's when all done.
