propaganda

why did i have to choose to explore media responsiblity for propaganda for war ... everytime i do somethign like this, someone goes and makes it the topic of the moment... every blasted thesis i've done has been on point within a few short weeks or months.

maybe i'm psychic? or don't need as much sleep as i thought?

Hiyya Mae...

Y'know, I haven't seen your posts when I explore my 'friends' link, guess I just miss you. But I every now and zen look you up since I think you rock :)

This shite with Iraq makes me want to puke, and the propaganda that goes with it is even more sickening- I can't stand to try to educate someone when they are pro war, though I know I should try but I am so impatient - it seems to me that they should see right through Bush's BS like I do!! But they don't... and I don't have the patience to explain, save for some of my LJ cut-and-pastes.

Sorry hon, I'm ranting.. but I do this since aI am soon to apply to Aussie for citizenship!! (whoo hoo!!) and I am dead tired of trying to revive the dead here - at least you people *live* there and engage in some kind of social change (at least, according to me flatmate Matt, who is from Melbourne - he is my guide to the Nu Land of OZ).

Anyway, sorry for not being on topic (or am I?) but I appreciate your cyber-friendship, however abstract it is... Be well, & good studies to you!

i've been rather quite over the past week ... hard to know just what to say when there is so much going on ... and your isp cuts you off for owing AUS$4.00 on your account . ah fuck it all.

I wonder if you'll still suffer some culture shock when you come over ... you can only get so much from a Melbournian (much like learning about Wisconsin from a Nebraskan :) unless you plan to move the their part of Melbourne of course :)

Also, you might try to ditch the US accent - some Americans have had a hard time here lately, what with the war an all :)
