maelorin at 08:15pm on 09/02/2004ok. got into the grad dip ed programme that was my first preference. so of to teacher school after all.
damn, but the fates have had some fun with me lately.
while i.t. would have been interesting, the i.t. sector has been very flat - while teachers are in short supply. so at least i'll get a job next year. probably relief teaching. so i'll have time to pick up another course part-time (intend to specialise in gifted education next year - at least partly coz my son is gifted, and partly coz there was nothing at all around for me when i was stuck in high school in the country).
and i'm still a computer geek. that's in my dna, apparently.

in any event, i am excited about the prospect of having a meaningful job that actually makes use of my years of education and experience.
as the course coordinator put it, i 'should make a very interesting legal studies teacher' ;)
