now. if i only had a computer. we're getting adsl some time soon. would be nice to make use of it ;)

i do have an older laptop. would need a pcmcia ethernet card. would also need more ram. and hard drive space.

so. realistically. a new(ish) desktop pc.

bring on march. and income.

sorry to hear about your computer woes. i couldn't live without cable internet anymore. slow cable internet days irk me to no end. dialup would be totally out of the question.

computer woes

i'm not so bored yet that i'm prepared to drive 40 mins each way to pick up some books and things that i didn't get yesterday.

i have some packing to do, and there are a few things that need to be moved here, before i can bring over my furniture.

i have been spoilt by gigabit links at uni.

currently i'm using dail-up to do this. we hope to have adsl in place in a week or so (depends upon a few factors that should be cleared up mon/tue). will be much better.

of course, i still need a computer to get good use out of it myself, but we do what we can ...
