my copy was a gift. because someone who doesn't share a house with me still loves me even though he can't remember when my birthday is or even sometimes my name.

you actually think he remembers any of our birthdays? i figure he just constantly celebrates december but couldn't name the three dates if he had to.
i don't take it personally. he's been senile since his early 20's.

johnny depp is brilliant. as is mr rush.

kiera is pretty. and there's this other guy, who i'm reliably informed is also pretty - in a guy kind of way ;)

the special effects are very cool. but depp's character is the real reason for watching this movie.

the sequel has a lot to live up to.
