Sometimes you tend to be a little quick in your assessments of other people, Steven. You make a decision about what someone is like right away when you meet them. Today you could learn that someone around you has hidden depth. Perhaps a friend or acquaintance will reveal layers that you have never noticed before. Give them a chance to express this part of themselves, and allow yourself to look at them differently.

i'm always reassessing the people. reconsidering my opinion of them, and trying to understand them better. especially now that i know i'm not the best judge of people, and for some very good reasons.

i love to see depth in people. this is part of what i call friendship. wanting to learn more about who someone is, rather than who you think they are or want them to be.

and in case they haven't noticed yet, my friends are allowed to tell me to shut up. i don't mind being the centre of attention, but i probably ought to give others thier chance. in any event, i do listen to what people are saying, even if i have my mouth open at the time.

i got to meet some more fabulous people last night. getting out is good. but trust me on the telling me to shut up. sometimes i just go on without really saying anything - i really do prefer to listen to other people [the going on and on is one of my aspie traits. i can dribble shit sometimes.]

Is it weird that I like the idea of listening to you ramble?
I do it too.

I notice you reassessing me, actually.
It's interesting to watch the changes in your reactions.

I can think of at least one way of getting you to shut up without telling you. >;-)

You seem a bit anxious about last night at the same time. Relax.

hhhmmm. more please.

not really anxious. just thinking 'out loud'.

i'm a really chatty, friendly drunk. but i can babble some real shit when i'm drunklies.

*gives you many, many kisses*

Glad you're not anxious.

I'm a happy, horny drunk. ;-)

Indeed. :-p

:wraps you in arms:

people often mistake my 'extro'[intro]spection for anxiety. i guess i need more practice at talking through stuff - and make sure i do so with the right people.

my drunk horniness is *directly* proportional to the responses of my audience. erm. i mean, company ;)

seems you're not the only one. i do seem to have a talent for captivating an audience.

and if you get the same group together next time, i'm sure there's at least one other person i could convince to start a tag-team discussion :)

[it's deliciously evil to know that i have a sparring partner now .. who'd have guessed we'd get along so well, so quickly? (now, if only i could remember his damn name ... arrgh! labels!)]

I for one had a thoroughly pleasant time, more than willing to do it again.

And I'm quite definitely more a listener than a talker, I like listening to others.
I also enjoy having intelligent conversations with others and you sir at least seem to have given some thought to what it is you are talking about first. Works for me.

Ciao for now.
