proxy settings good

just spent quarter of an hour trying to figure out why all of a sudden i couldn't get pages from the usa to load.

restarted my browser. tried traceroute. ping. nothing out of the ordinary.

then i was reminded about proxy settings. they've changed recently. i've installed a new browser.

guess what i've just added to the config.

all is well. [it seems i'm still a stupid human ...]

just think of it as forgetting to tell my computer where it can find the local shop, so it doesn't have to trek all the way into town everytime it wants to buy milk ;)
