summer?

it is supposed to be the height of summer right now.

days of temps above 30 centigrade.

it is currently 14c and raining.

brrr!

True, I guess it could be 40°c and raining. That would bring a lot more complaints I'm sure.

Still, It is only the start of February, as Mal says, "the height of summer", where is our run of over 40° days? I'm anticipating it's appearance at any minute...

It's relatively cool here, too.
It rarely gets above 30.

we're getting days of it here at the moment.

this is all wrong.

we did get hot, hot, hot (40c, >100f) for australia day (of course).

but now it's cold and wet. for days. this is winter weather ...

a summer shower is all good. nothing quite like walking along the beach in summer rain.

how can i get out and enjoy a few days at the beach in this weather? :(

edited coz i accidently hit post when i was trying to scroll to add something i had missed ... :)

HAHAHAA!! Forget the cold. I got caught in a hail storm when I was walking along the Largs beach. Not tiny stones, this was HAIL in the worst sense. It was cold. I had to carry the dog.
