Learn from the mistakes of others

this week has been interesting.

monday
bought a bike.

tuesday
i found out that i am not going to be working as an industrial relations lawyer for the state government. not this year at least.
and tuesday evening i caught up with someone i haven't seen for at least five years. i ran into him after a public human rights lecture in the city. spent a good part of the evening discussing refugee law, and ethics.

wednesday
centrelink: interview for not-a-job™ ... put on 'newstart'&trade for eight weeks while my dsp payment is assessed. for the first time ever, someone at clink was nice to me. didn't know what to do with my afternoon.
then i roleplayed 'til something-stupid&trade o'clock am. much fun.

thursday
walked and bused home from said roleplaying.
later, saw ex&son off on easter holiday. fed the cats. went home

friday
quiet day. easter friday. everything shut.
spent evening on buses - to feed the cats. [the cats live with ex&son]

i'm thinking of riding the new bike over to ex's tomorrow for the cat-feeding ritual. probably take two-three hours. which is the same for the buses.

saturday
shopping for food.
stuff.

um. vodka. shiraz/cabernet. fah-shizzle.
