there is an oft told 'rule' that one should never date a co-worker. the ugliness that follows when things go wrong makes for lots of unpleasantness in the office.
in the past week, i got to see a co-worker couple bust up on the footpath outside the building they work in. it was a few minutes of pretty awkward body language, with arm waving and yelling, and so on. then the parting. and the walking away. followed by the walking back, and trying to get composed for the walking into the same building. together, but apart.
i sure hope they weren't manager and secretary, or something. any of the stereotypical parings.
on the home front, i'm wondering about one of my colleagues. just the usual uncertainty-ness-ness.
