i don't do smalltalk well. i tend to follow along in that game.

all the women i've gone out, i've literally chatted up through hours of conversation. i'm not exactly don jaun, mind you. but if we hold each other's interest through a deep conversation or two, chances are that i just might realise that she just might be interested enough to catch up more often.

this is not an ego thing. being an aspie, i really have to have signals staring me in the face before i recognise them. ironically, i'm pretty good at picking up on what's going on between other people. i'm just self-blind.

mind you, the last opportunity i blew coz i can be a complete dunderhead when it comes to women i find attractive. sometimes i just don't have a clue what to do next - even when she's practically telling me ... stupid, stupid aspie [aka male]

the new, more positive, hopeful me, probably needs to get out and meet nice young women more often. one of them just might find this thoughtful, considerate, bumbling idiot of a lawyer attractive enough to take home.
