here, they're minor, but they have senators in the federal parliament, and members in houses around the country. they've become perhaps the strongest of the minor parties in recent times - certainly had the strongest growth in votes [unless you count the recently created "family first" party ... O_o]
the centrist-left 'democrats' were the power brokers for more than a decade, until they had some internal manpower changes and fucked their own golden goose ... now they're more than a little lost. it's hard to vote for them now, even thoguh they generally sit about my political views, because they're so dysfunctional. [they're called the democrats because everything in the party is decided by vote ... hence the dysfunction]
