well, i have been sick now for four days.

i'm not particularly good when i'm sick. yeah, yeah. i'm male. all of that.

i can usually get by with a bit of whinging. but this time, it all hurt so much i could hardly think straight. dammit.

i picked up a flu that caused a headache, sinusitis, laryngitis, and general oh-fuck-i'm-sore-itis ...

good news is that i'm feeling a lot better now. just crappy, and headachy. yay! for 'cold and flu' medication with anti-histamines, codeine and shit. now i'm just sore and a bit grouchy.

must go sleep soon.

having tried to catch up with what's going on in everyone else's lives, i'm kinda glad i've only been ill and feeling like i was dying. some of you have had real shit going on in your lives. i hope things perk up for you. for all of us.

sorry you've been feeling crummy. hope it didn't put you too far behind at work. that's the worst part of being sick and of a vacation -- everybody expects you to have pulled your weight while you are off either dying or trying to keep from killing your coworkers.

only three days. am now spending even more time at night catching up. oh well, all part of the experience. :wan smile:

mind you, getting lots of sympathy and help at school. i'm not the first to go down with this bug - though i was the first to wait until the worst was over before coming back ... all hugs and stuff for staying away until contagiousness abated :)

just gotta get over the headaches now. otherwise, it's all good.
