i'm trying contacts again.

man the world is weird in real size ... and hurtings ... as i lumber about the place crashing into stuffs.

Hmm well I know some people do it because they think they look better without glasses and whatnot.. I may have to get some one day for some very important reason... havent came up with one yet.

Ive hit myself on the glasses during taekwondo and while signing of course.. im used to the painful whacks...

i tended to break my glasses rather than notice i'd hit them (again).

i'm not violent, but i make up for it in clumsiness.

[i broke the door off a friends valiant. opening it. *headdesk*]

the contacts are to give me a chance to get the lenses in my glasses replaced.

-9/-10 kinda slows the day down without my seeing eye dog visual acuity aids :P

i usually break things rather than myself.

usually the least desirable-to-be-broken thing. or the one that i've just been told is unbreakable.

sometimes i manage to use a to break b, just to mix it up.

[i'm a dab hand at breaking software and suchlike too. or spotting broken bits.]

I feel your pain. Reallity is oddly large (my prescription's not as bad as yours, but it isn't good either...) the real size world is very, very strange. Plus, bumping into things is annoying. Yay for perspective shifts!

I got to drive in mine for the first time on the weekend - very, very odd.

Are you using the soft ones or RGP?

i'm trialling a daily soft and a weekly soft atm.

the dailies are tempting for sheer convenience. but they cost more. so i'll have to see if i can get those and new lenses on my private cover. if not, will have some (more) thinking to do.
