bookcrossing

so. bookcrossing.

i've finally released my first bc book. i'm hoping it gets picked up and someone comments in bc.

the release was funny. the staff at hudsons were cool, one of the patrons was a little edgy though :)

"you left your book!"
"yeah, i know. i meant to. you can have it if you like."
"you don't want it? it's brand new. you could take it back."
"that's not the point - it's registered with bookcrossing - have a look in the book. gotta go."


anywhoo, first tag and release.

I've managed two captures - there's a couple of places in Adelaide where you can almost always find a book. The main one is the Women's Info Center, for which I have been forced to send in my wife, as I'm too nervous to walk inside. :)

I haven't got around to a release yet, but now I'm all inspired again. Perhaps I should release some of those free books the publishers keep sending?

(btw hi Maeloren - now I've blown my cover, and you'll discover that at least one odd little technopagan reads your blog).

No - I just stuck MT on my server, so that I could get a blog. I spotted yours on Adelaide Blogs - I don't know why, but "i'm a lawyer training to be a teacher" made me immediatly think of you. :P
