spending much more time on the paper was not really posisble anyway, since we did the usual thing of waiting 'til the last minute - nothing like a deadline to focus the mind :) [besides we'd hashed out the thing over the previous month or so anyway.]

oh, did i just give away the secret to our success?

i figure we could use the money for a nice lunch or sommat ... [i figured it wasn't a huge cash prize :)]

but the bar has been set pretty high for my next paper ... and it'll have to be a substantive one ... they can't all be tales of high adventure in the classroom ...

The prize is about $500. I'm inclined to say that it's all yours, but Su suggested that we should buy toys. That she gets to see. Like helicopters. :)
